Luma Saqqaf is the CEO and founder of LConsult providing companies, family offices and funds with corporate, structuring and governance advice relating to their investment, growth, expansion and restructuring activities in MENA.

Luma brings 18+ years of legal financial and capital markets experience across MENA having practiced at the two “magic circle” law firms Allen & Overy and, subsequently Linklaters where she was a finance partner and head of the global Islamic finance group. She acted for corporates in various industries as well as banks and financial institutions on multimillion cross-border financing, corporate and capital markets transactions and led transaction teams globally across Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Luma is also an investor in various sectors including retail, entertainment and education and actively provides business mentoring to a number of small businesses across the region. In 2013, she set-up JeeranSME, a non-profit network that provides business mentoring to startups and SME’s in Jordan and Palestine.

As part of a career break, Luma qualified and practiced as an executive coach working with individuals and teams in relation to leadership development and improving performance. Luma is fluent in Arabic and English, and speaks French and basic Spanish.
